We live our lives wondering if we make a difference. Not everyone will admit that, but we all do it. Life is fleeting - we raise our children; they raise theirs. If we're lucky, we as grandparents, play some part in those little lives, hopefully adding our experience into the mix of what will be their future. We guide; we voice our thoughts and opinions - even when we're NOT asked for them. We try to save our children from the same mistakes we made. We even try to save our grandchildren from those same mistakes.
Ultimately, we sit back and watch them grow....and what a joy that is!
Of course, we make a difference.
